Mississippi State University, College of Veterinary Medicine 2024 Dr. Ashley Shine is originally from northeast Arkansas. She completed her undergraduate degree in animal and dairy science at Mississippi State University, where she competed as a western rider for the MSU Equestrian Team. She went on to also earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Shine’s professional interests include colic, lameness, and emergency medicine.  She and her husband, Matt, are experts at wrangling their 3 pets: Rowdy, the Cowboy Corgi, and cats Penny and Mabel! When not at the clinic, you can find her hiking, reading, gardening, traveling, and always drinking fruit punch or coffee.
