Dr. Lelland Ducksworth was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he competed as a student athlete. After several years of zookeeping, Dr. Ducksworth then received a Masters of Business Administration from Bellevue University. His interest in large animal surgery and medicine led to his pursuit in veterinary medicine.  He received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2026 from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Lelland's professional interests include all aspects of equine practice with a particular emphasis in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. During his leisure time, he enjoys to maintaining his physical fitness and spending time with family.
