Dr. MADISON FIRTH
Dr. Madison Firth was raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Firth attended Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, where she completed a bachelor of science majoring in French & Biology. While at Acadia, Dr. Firth competed on the Women's Varsity Rugby and Junior Varsity Hockey teams. From 2021-2024, Dr. Firth attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, then completed her clinical studies at the University of Minnesota. After graduation, Dr. Firth started her career as an Equine Surgical Intern at Bluegrass Equine Surgery in Versailles, Kentucky, where she mainly worked with Thoroughbred foals, yearlings, and racehorses. Dr. Firth's love for the equine industry stems from her time as an athlete. Dr. Firth is dedicated to helping prepare her patients for peak athletic performance, the same way her doctors helped her achieve this goal. Dr. Firth's professional interests include, orthopedic surgery, upper airway surgery, and lameness. In Dr. Firth's spare time, she enjoys watching or participating in various sports, going to the gym, and spending time with her dog Stevie.
