Please welcome Dr. England to Oakridge Equine. She joined the practice in 2023 and is trained in internal medicine. This means Dr. England specializes in treating acutely sick horses and horses with chronic diseases. This includes diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia, colitis, colic, postpartum metritis and strangles. Dr. England loves to take care of sick or not nursing foals. Dr. England can also help with diagnosis and management of Equine Asthma, Equine Cushing’s, and Equine Metabolic Syndrome. Other commonly treated problems include corneal ulcers and uveitis. Dr. England can also perform a cardiac evaluation including ultrasounding the heart and evaluating abnormal heart rhythms and determine whether your horse needs to be evaluated by a cardiac specialist.
